I just wanted to add two more things about my experience with HP tech support.
I have to give credit where it is due and HP did send the new computer in all recyclable material. There was no Styrofoam. I’m very pleased about that because I can recycle the whole thing after 20 days and not have to fill up my garbage container. * and all that good stuff about the environment…
The survey they sent me was addressed to Mr. A. Tabob.
Ok, that’s it.
Maybe one of your first support reps wrote down your name and escalated it to his supervisor, Bob. Bob couldn’t read the guy’s writing, so your name is a “mystery to Bob.” (Mr. A. Tabob).
That actually seems plausible and maybe even logical except to my knowledge I never had a rep named Bob or “Bob”.
Or maybe they just said their name was Suresh, but they were really Bob.
How about Miss Nabob? Could you live with that name?
(p.s. word verification wants me to type ilonnesh but I’m going to try Bob instead)
