It’s hockey tournament time in Minnesota and that means – usually – a huge snow storm. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen, especially after the frigid cold of February.

I’m doing my best to support local restaurants who have been impacted by the draconian covid restrictions. If you’re looking for a great burger and want to support local, then head up Highway 61 to The Burger Bar in White Bear Lake. They’ve been quietly making some of the best burgers you’ve never tried before.

Each month they’ve been featuring a new BOM or Burger of the Month and are offering it as a BOGO – buy the BOM and get another burger of your choice at half off the price. It’s a great deal and great way to try new burgers.

This month they’re offering the San Antonio Burger – a unique blend of real fresh beef patties prepared daily and smashed on their flat top, placed on a toasted bun with a base of Fritos, a dab of refried beans and house made chili, diced onions all topped off with house made cheese sauce. There’s a lot to it and a LOT to enjoy – $12 with a BOGO 1/2 price on a second burger of your choice. Pairs perfectly with a Summit High Sticke beer. This Burger of the Month is available during March so swing on by next week for a great burger! Click here to order online.
