Today I’m partnering with Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers to share with you the Traffic Secrets 30-Day Challenge.

I have been participating in the Traffic Secrets 30-Day Challenge for the last 20 days. The goal of the 30 day challenge is to increase site traffic by really figuring out who your traffic is. The idea being that if you know who your audience is, you can create the kind of content they are searching for.

One of the biggest challenges any business has is finding its customer/audience. Whether you’re selling a great product online, have an Etsy shop or have a brick and mortar shop, the strategies are the same, and yet most of us (myself definitely included) don’t know who our customer is or how to get to them to your site.

I’ll admit figuring out who my audience is now has been challenging. I used to know exactly who it was that visited my site because I had cultivated my audience back when it was easy to do so. My audience used to be made up of other bloggers like me. None of us really understood the idea of niche and most of us weren’t selling anything. We were all hoping to be discovered and get a book deal.

I knew my audience back then because they left comments. Now, people rarely leave comments so engagement is much more challenging, it takes place on social media rather than on the blog and that is probably where most of my challenge comes from.

In order to figure out who my customer is, I need to figure out what I am selling. I don’t have a product per se, I have an upcoming book that I hope to publish this fall or early next year. Of course, as a web designer and someone who manages social media marketing for several small businesses, this book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers is extremely helpful for me to share with my clients so that they know who their dream customers are. Believe it or not, when I ask them who their customers are (so I can design a site that is fitting that group of people) they have no idea. Like most entrepreneurs, they had a great idea for a product or service and ran with it, they didn’t bother to figure out these details.

I’ve read a hundred books about how to get traffic to your website. Most were strictly SEO which is something that changes with the wind or when Google changes their algorithm. Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers isn’t about SEO, it’s about knowing who your audience is, who your customer is, so that you can find them where they are and bring them to your site. It’s a great strategy and one that works. No surprise since Russell Brunson is the CEO of Clickfunnels, a $100M software company he launched in 2014 with Todd Dickerson, as well as a best selling author.

If you’re struggling to find your dream customer and introduce them to your site you should take part in the Traffic Secrets 30-Day Challenge. The books is available now and I highly recommend it.
