I am a huge fan of Dan Brown’s books. I read Angels and Demons when no one knew who he was. It is so far one of my favorite books. The Davinci Code was good but Angels and Demons was even better. I just picked up the new book, The Lost Symbol, this morning. I can’t wait to start reading it.
I’ve noticed that there are a lot of bloggers out there who are just as excited about this new book and have also either picked up their copy or will by the end of the day. For anyone interested I’m having a virtual book club where we can discuss it. If you are interested leave your name or blog name in the comment section and I’ll contact you with the details as well as post them here. In all book clubs I have joined wine was usually served so somehow we must include wine. Wine blogging is always fun.
Gee and I thought whine blogging was fun…..
heh heh
I want to read this too but will have to wait for the library. I read an excerpt and it looks really good.
I'm in on the wine blogging! I'm anxious to hear how this book is–lots of hype about it.
Pricilla, wine blogging usually turns into whine blogging. I'll send you my copy when I'm finished, just send me some of that wonderful soap in return.
Lin, Did you see him on Today? They interviewed him in his library which he called his cavern of gratitude or something like that. It looked like the library of congress but nicer.
I LOVE Dan Brown as well. However, I am on a temporary "fast" when it comes to books. I spend every minute of free time on this laptop, that I've lost my mojo for reading. I've got a virtual library of books waiting for me. I'm glad I'll have that one to look forward to, though. Always a great read. I wish he could be my mentor….
I am definitely in! Small Town Daddy brought it home for me last night and I have already started. I am in for the wine, but may skip the whine :).
Kathryn, He gets up at 4am to write, I don't know if I think that is impressive or crazy. He must nap during the day.
Anne, I started it last night too. I read about five chapters before falling asleep.
We are now entering an age where digital copy sales will surpass the physicals, by far. Welcome to 2010.
