I’m not sure it is a good thing or a bad thing but I am awfully proud of my son. That’s not what I am confused about, I am always proud of my son. Geez, I’m already babbling.
My son has started up his own blog! He told me about it last night and wanted me to help him with it. His blog is called Turmoil of a Teenage Techie and as you can see the apple has not fallen far from the tree.
Of course I have a few concerns, he still has his whole life ahead of him and if he gets sucked into the blogosphere now he might never go to college, get married, have grandchildren for me, and do all those other things he wants to do. I am afraid for him on that level but I am so excited that he wants to take up blogging and writing.
I am also a convinced that his blog will have considerably more traffic than mine and I am already a little jealous of that.
On the flip side of that, the blogosphere is a great place to meet sluttyy chicks.
So, you know, give the kid a break.
I’m starting one for my 6 year old just for this purpose. My daughter, on the other hand, is allowed nowhere near a computer.

I will go be his first goat follower. I hope he has many more…..
Moooog: Of course it is, that’s how we met! Um, you’re the slutty one.
Pricilla: Since he steals the soap you send me I think he will appreciate that very much.
This is great, Jen. I’ll head on over to check it out.
Jen – I just visited your son’s blog – how precious is he?

Margo, he is precious but I could never say that to his face. I am so glad you left a comment, I have wanted to but didn’t want to hear “Mom! why’d you embarrass me on my blog?” I want to make a comment saying “Oh, Honey that is such a great blog you have made” but no matter how I say it I still sound like his mother. He won’t seem all that precious when his friends start leaving comments and using all the swear words they are so fond of but right now it’s cute.
Yeah, well, I just told him not to forget getting married and giving you grandbabies, so maybe he won’t appreciate that we all know he’s out there now. I’ll try to behave myself next comment.

Kathy: He asked me to blog about his blog, he wants the traffic even if it is old people traffic. I’d like to send Moooog over there to leave a comment but I am scared to do that.
Oh, yeah. That’s gotta be a Moooog-free zone for a while until he gets his feet wet.
“Old people traffic.” Ha!

Oh but he has to do all of those things now so he will have something to blog about…lol… I’ll check out his blog… even if I am an ‘old people’ 🙂
A Lil Enchanted,
~LaShan~
Kathy: I couldn’t resist, I left a comment. Just a little helpful hint. Hopefully he won’t pull the whole thing down now. We’ll find out if he has his mother’s sense of humor I guess.
LaShan: He has so many things to blog about, he actually has a life, he might not if he gets into the whole blogging thing.
Just remind him that college, marriage, and parenthood will give him lots of great blog fodder!
Surfi: How very true. I would have given anything to have been a blogger in college and my wedding would have been fodder for months, the divorce even longer.
There’s always the “Nostalgia Post”! 🙂

hahahahahahaha!
I am sure he will still go to college and get married and give you grandchildren, despite him having a blog.. 😉
Breathe. 🙂
Surfie: I don’t do enough nostalgia posts, I fear I will never return if start them. I could live in the 80’s. I’m still wearing the fashions from then.
C: I hope so and in that order if you please. Thanks, I will breathe now.
That’s cute. My 9 year old wants a blog too. Of course, she wants me to set it up for her and to probably even write it for her. I never should have mentioned that it would be good spelling practice!
