It’s almost time for National Night Out, which is the first Tuesday in August, unless you’re in Texas and then it’s the first Tuesday in October. If you’re hosting a National Night Out block party, you’re going to need a free block party flyer template to quickly design and print your invitations.
It’s been a long time since we had a block party. A neighbor and I talk about it every year, but life gets in the way and we never get around to it. I think the last one was 4 or 5 years ago, however there have been many new neighbors in the last few years and it would great to host another block party to get to know them.
I created this free block party flyer template in Word so anyone can edit it and print it off. You can change the text, fonts, colors and insert your own images if you prefer. I’m by no means a wiz when it comes to design, and if you were inclined to create your own from scratch it probably wouldn’t be much more difficult than editing this one. But, why recreate the wheel?
National Night Out is only a few weeks away so time is a consideration. I originally created the flyer in Photoshop but not everyone has access to that program and it can be a difficult program to use. Word seemed like the way to go.
