The new computer that Hewlett-Packard sent me seems to be working fine. I hope that if it is going to crash it does it in the next 20 days. I dread the thought of having to call tech support again.
I was sent a survey by HP this morning to critique their service. You can imagine how I answered it. I hope they pay attention but I wonder who reads the surveys.
I am happy they sent me a new computer but I feel as if they would not have sent me the replacement unless I made a big stink. I’m not the kind of person who does this sort of thing. Usually I just do what I am told. Demanding better service is the only way for the powers that be to know you need better service. I don’t know anyone who enjoys calling outsourced tech support. I would imagine most companies know this but since it is cheap they don’t care. Or they haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing it first hand so can’t fully appreciate the complete frustration involved. Unless more people say something nothing will change.
It’s time to move on to other things. Unless it crashes again I won’t be posting about HP anymore.
Hip hip hooray!
“Unless it crashes again I won’t be posting about HP anymore.” Good. The bastards.
Let’s talk about you now, darling…that’s why we’re all here.
Just be sure you are all anti-virused, anti-spywared, and the quinine water and silver crosses are within reaching distance.
I have the garlic shrine all around it. Yes Bill, lets talk about me…..
My advice? Get a Mac.
You probably won’t need to call, but if you do, just keep your AppleCare plan up to date, and you’ll find the customer service to be impeccable. At least that’s been my experience and that of other Mac owners I’ve talked to.
