I’m co-hosting a discussion over at The Motherhood today!
Doug Block filmed his daughter her whole life. And then it came time for her to go off to college. Doug’s new movie The Kids Grow Up focuses primarily on the year before she went off to college.
Join Doug and his wife Marjorie Silver for a live chat TODAY.
We’ll talk about our kids leaving home and also how we document our kids’ lives with video, photos, blogging and other ways.

Crap. So I missed it?
GAH! Like Kathy, I’m here a day late and a dollar short. Hope it was fun and I was jazzed to see that little blue bar under your name that says “Expert.”
I also enjoyed your witty repartee. Everyone else was sort of stodgy — I love parenthood. I can’t believe they’re gone, when will they come back. It seems like they were pc and had no fun with the answers.
That’s not to say you sounded like you wanted to dump them as soon as you could — that’s my line, right? It’s just that you sounded fun and real.
I also missed it. But I’m a terrible mom anyway, and nothing you might have said would’ve changed that.
Dammit. I missed it.
Awesome!!!
You made some Good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree.
