I’m ready for the new school year to begin. Not that I have gotten all the school supplies needed or new clothes for the kids. In fact, in that regard I am woefully unprepared. But, I am ready for them to get back to school. I am ready for them to get out of my house. Too bad they both aren’t going off to college this year.

Stacie, I've been picking up supplies as they go on sale, I'm not sure what they need since we haven't gotten the list yet but after 12 years of getting back to school supplies I know that I will always get the wrong kind of notebooks (three subject or single subject, they change each year) and never enough kleenex.
Pricilla, Haha, yes I am really, really, really ready. Her ears are doing well but you are right mine are pierced after this summer.
If they had both left for college, YOU would be standing in line at the post office everyday to send them the things they forgot like I am.
How, exactly, does someone forget their cell phone charger?
Kids (and adults, for that matter) need to be busy. School is a good thing.
College will come soon enough. I'm so glad we're done with the back to school thing. Seems like just yesterday they were in preschool. Where did the years go?!
We've had my kids waiting outside for the bus for three weeks.
We should probably feed them or something.
