I’ve been blogging for nearly two years now and have really loved every minute of it. I live my life by what I can post on the web. If I can’t post it it’s hardly worth doing. This attitude has freed me from some of the more mundane tasks in my life.

Why do laundry? No one wants to read about it unless you have to do it in an urban intercity laundromat and I don’t ever want to do that again.

I’ve already blogged about cooking so there is no need to do it anymore. Take out works for me.

It has also helped me to venture out in the world more, looking for more interesting things to post about. Why just go out for tea when you can go out for tea and go to the ER at the same time?

It’s help me be more open about my body. And I’ve been able to educate you on what a real redhead is like in bed.

I’ve also come clean about my addiction.

So blogging has been wonderful and coming into another winter where we all seem to blog more and visit each other more I am reminded of a few things that really pissed me off last year when I started using Entrecard.

I’ve already noticed a few blogs with falling leaves superimposed over their web page. Whoever these people are, and I’m not naming names, stop it now. Cease and desist and don’t even think about putting snow on your blog when the temperature starts to drop. It messes up loading time and frankly it’s annoying. If I want to see falling leaves I’ll go outside where I can smell them too. I don’t want to be reminded that in a couple of weeks I’m going to be outside raking them all up.

The dancing guy. Remember him? The avatar dude who dances and slows down the loading time of the page. I thought he had faded away but I see him more and more these days. He’s creepy and he doesn’t really look like you. If you want an avatar that looks like you take a picture of yourself and put it on your blog. You probably don’t dance as well as he does anyway.

Just a little reminder, we’re all in this together.
