Ok, I secured the domains for both this site and my Kids of Queers site. I have hosting and email. I can’t figure out how to set the damn things up.
It’s not like I don’t know what I am doing. I have created several websites in the last 15 years or so. Not a whole lot, but enough that I should be able to figure this out.
So now I’m going to have to ask my son to do it for me. Not only will he make fun of me he will want money for his time. Reasonable enough I suppose except I don’t recall getting paid when I was in the hospital getting him out and into this world. Okay, I suppose I have received many lovely macaroni picture frames and all that but….
I need help.
Maybe I’ll just quit and watch Cops.
Did your son take care of it for you?
No. I got it up on blogger but it doesn’t do the things that blogspot does. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. Blogger says you can but I haven’t had much time lately. So I can have blogger host the site or I can create my own. I already have the hosting site. I don’t know. any advice?
Well, I have “cranialhyperossification.com” just redirect to “cranialhyperossification.blogspot.com”
I did that in the control panel at my domain registrar’s site. That keeps me from having to worry about hosting anything.
On the other hand, the site I’ve had since 2000 has WordPress installed on it. I use that to host Son’s blog. Since he doesn’t write much, it doesn’t take up all that much space. However, I was able to control the domain name much better.
